Dead Snow: A celebration of eight Norwegian medical students take a trip to a remote Arctic mountain for an Easter weekend filled with skiing and relaxation. After among their group disappears while on a solo cross-country hike, a strange regional resident (Bjørn Sundquist) tells the remaining visitors that, in the subsiding days of World War II, a battalion of Nazi soldiers vanished into the neighboring woods after the locals turned on them, which their zombified remains remain on the prowl in the location. Pontypool: When video jockey Grant Mazzy (Stephen McHattie) reports to his basement radio station in the Canadian town of Pontypool, he believes it's just another day at work. But when he hears reports of a virus that turns individuals into zombies, Mazzy barricades himself in the radio booth and attempts to find out a way to alert his listeners about the virus and its unlikely mode of transmission: the English language. I Sell the Dead: Arthur Blake (Dominic Monaghan) is about to be carried out by guillotine for the criminal offense of grave robbing.
